Why 70-yr-Old HIV Patient Rapes, Girl 13

In Barkin Ladi Local Government of Plateau State, a 70-year-old man, (name, withheld) has been arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl last Thursday. The old man was said to have been caught in the act by the son of the landlord, who immediately reported the matter to the police.
According to our correspondent, the 70-year-old man who had initially confessed committing the crime, later denied it after some of his kinsmen told him to do so.
Mr Chris Olakpe, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, confirmed the incident and said that the old man would be transferred to the headquarters in Jos.
