Inauguration: SEE The Vintage Car Desmond Elliot Rode

Nollywood actor/producer turned politician, Desmond Elliot, was inaugurated into the Lagos State House of Assembly on June 8, Monday.
Desmond, who is representing Surulere constituency 1 at the House, contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and won, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He was driven to his inauguration at the Lagos House of Assembly in an unusual car. It was a vintage Mercedes Benz car, not the type you see every day.

Some of his Nollywood colleagues were at the inauguration to support him. Those present included, Ramsey Nuoah, Monalisa Chinda and others.

Desmond has starred in over two hundred Nollywood movies and a number of television shows and soap operas.
The politician has been married to his wife, Vicky, for several years and they have four lovely children.
He was elected as a lawmaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency, in the April 11, 2015 Nigerian general elections.

After his victory, he took to social media to thank all those who stood by him and supported him.
