Lagos Cancels Movement Restriction For May Environmental Sanitation

The Lagos State government has announced that there will be free vehicular and human movement come May 30th, which is the last Saturday environmental sanitation for the month. This is to enable a hitch-free inauguration of the incoming Governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode, and the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
The Commissioner for Environment, Tunji Bello, explained that the move was made to allow Nigerians participate in the inauguration ceremonies.  Bello also said that, the cancellation would allow for easy transportation of fuel from tank farms in the state to other parts of the country.
