United In Death! Young Couple, Other Bodies Found In Sea (Photos)

The remains of other people in the ship that was carrying 366 migrants trying to get into Italy illegally that caught fire and sank last September, just two miles off the island of Lampedusa, killing almost all the occupants in it, whom were mostly Somalis and Eritreans, have been found.
The most striking one was a young couple found clinging to each other in the shadow of the sunken hull even in death. They were discovered this week after a boat carrying hundreds of migrants sunk 100 miles south of Lampedusa. Despite desperate rescue attempts, at least 17 migrants still drowned, with many still missing.

Last week at least 40 perished in another wreck when their trawler sank off the coast of Libya all in a bid to get into Italy. Warning graphic images after the cut.....
