Matt Rutler has officially set the Valentine's Day gift bar impossibly high for men around the world.
He proposed today to The Voice judge Christina Aguilera!
Following three years of dating, Rutler finally figured out what a girl wants and popped life most important question to Aguilera. And how did she respond?
"He asked and I said……" the singer wrote Friday on Instagram, including with her message a photo of the couple holding hands and a rather large rock on one of her fingers.
Aguilera met Rutler in 2010, as she was going through a divorce from Jordan Bratman, to whom she was married for five years.
They share custody of six-year old son Max.
Aguilera is known for keeping her personal life private, but she has posed in public on a few occasions with Rutler and she lives in a $10 million Los Angeles mansion with her now-fiance.
